About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring an Admissions Counsellor to support applicants from first enquiry to confirmed admission. You will explain the admissions process, check eligibility and keep applicants moving towards their deadlines.
What you'll do
- Handle admission enquiries by phone, email and walk-in, explaining eligibility and the application process.
- Review application forms and documents for completeness before submission.
- Counsel applicants and families on choosing the course that best matches their aims.
- Track application deadlines and remind applicants of pending steps.
- Build trust with applicants through timely, respectful follow-up.
- Update admission records and share progress with the admissions team regularly.
- Help applicants prepare for any interviews or entrance requirements the admission involves.
What you'll bring
- 0–4 years of experience in admissions, counselling or student-facing roles; freshers may apply.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline, with relevant experience considered for some assignments.
- Clear, reassuring communication with students and their parents.
- Organisation and careful attention to forms, documents and deadlines.
- Comfort with consultative conversations that lead to decisions.
Good to have
- Exposure to university or college admissions cycles from start to finish.
- Familiarity with application tracking or CRM systems for admissions.
- Prior experience in the education and student services sector.
