About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring an Airport Commercial Manager to develop the commercial side of airport operations, including retail, food and beverage concessions and advertising spaces. You will set commercial plans, manage partnerships and work with senior stakeholders to make the most of every commercial space.
What you'll do
- Build the commercial plan for airport spaces, including retail, food and beverage, advertising and services.
- Negotiate and manage agreements with concessionaires and commercial partners.
- Review partner performance against agreed terms and act on underperforming spaces.
- Work with airport operations to balance commercial activity with passenger flow and safety requirements.
- Coach the commercial team on partner management, tenders and reporting.
- Present commercial results and the annual business plan to senior stakeholders.
What you'll bring
- 8–12 years of experience in airport commercial operations, retail leasing or commercial partnerships.
- An MBA or PGDM as your postgraduate management qualification.
- Strong negotiation and contract management with commercial partners.
- Commercial and analytical skills to assess space use and returns.
- Experience heading a team and working with senior stakeholders.
Good to have
- Exposure to tender processes for allocating airport concessions.
- Familiarity with passenger traffic data and its commercial use.
- Prior experience in the aviation sector at a senior commercial level.
