About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring an Airport Retail Executive to serve passengers shopping in the terminal, often with only minutes before boarding. You will help them choose, bill accurately and keep the store ready for the next customer.
What you'll do
- Greet passengers browsing the store and help them find products quickly.
- Explain product features and suggest items that suit the passenger's needs.
- Complete billing accurately, including any boarding pass or travel document checks required.
- Restock shelves, arrange displays and keep the store tidy throughout the day.
- Handle product queries and complaints courteously within store policy.
- Follow airport security and documentation procedures when stock is received.
- Keep an eye on boarding calls so that shoppers in a hurry are served first.
What you'll bring
- 0–3 years of experience in retail sales, customer service or passenger handling; freshers may apply.
- A 10+2 or graduate qualification, depending on the role, with aviation, hospitality or customer-service training preferred.
- Friendly, persuasive communication with shoppers who are short of time.
- Accuracy with billing, cash and the documentation that goes with each sale.
- Energy and attentiveness on the shop floor from opening to close.
Good to have
- Exposure to airport or travel retail and its passenger rules.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and routine stock counts in a store.
- Prior experience in the aviation or retail sector.
