About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring an Area Business Manager – Education to build its education business across an assigned area through institutional relationships and outreach. You will own area performance, manage relationships with institutions and support the teams who counsel learners.
What you'll do
- Map institutions, schools and colleges in the area and plan regular outreach to them.
- Build relationships with principals, directors and decision-makers to create partnership opportunities.
- Support counsellors with joint visits and guidance on consultative conversations.
- Track area enquiries, enrolments and partner activity, and act on gaps.
- Organise seminars and information sessions with partner institutions.
- Share area performance and plans with senior leadership at regular reviews.
- Keep in touch with partner institutions after each intake to strengthen the relationship.
What you'll bring
- 4–8 years of experience in education sales, institutional outreach or area business development.
- A graduate degree or an MBA is expected for this position.
- Strong relationship building with principals, directors and other institutional stakeholders.
- Good planning and field coordination skills across a spread of institutions.
- Clear, persuasive communication in meetings and group presentations alike.
Good to have
- An existing network among schools and colleges in the assigned area.
- Exposure to selling EdTech products or services to institutions.
- Prior experience in the education sector in an area or territory role.
