About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring an Associate Director – Brand Marketing to own brand marketing strategy and the campaigns that express it. You will shape how audiences perceive the brand, mentor a capable team and keep agencies, partners and stakeholders pulling in one direction.
What you'll do
- Write the brand marketing strategy each year, covering positioning, audiences, messaging pillars and the campaign roadmap.
- Oversee every major campaign from brief to wrap, checking craft, timeliness and fit with brand goals.
- Mentor managers within your team, sharpen their briefs and grow people ready for bigger responsibility.
- Hold relationships with creative, media and communications agencies, and judge their output against agreed objectives.
- Read brand-tracking and campaign analytics to decide which messages earn more investment and which to retire.
- Present recommendations to senior management with evidence, trade-offs and a clear point of view.
What you'll bring
- 10–15 years of experience in brand marketing, including senior responsibility for strategy and campaigns.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline such as marketing or communications.
- Proven skill in turning a brand strategy into integrated campaigns that audiences remember.
- Strong stakeholder management, with the confidence to influence peers and seniors across functions.
- Comfort interpreting analytics, from brand-health surveys to campaign dashboards, before making decisions.
Good to have
- Experience on both the agency side and the client side of brand marketing.
- Exposure to repositioning a brand or relaunching it to a new audience.
- Prior experience in the marketing and communications sector with integrated campaign work.
