About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring an Associate Director – Events to lead the planning and delivery of events that serve clear marketing goals. You will set direction, guide teams and work closely with senior stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Shape event strategies that connect directly to marketing objectives and measurable outcomes.
- Lead event campaigns from concept through execution, reviewing plans, budgets and risks.
- Build and lead event teams, setting standards for planning, delivery and audience experience.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to agree priorities, approvals and measures of success.
- Use post-event analytics and feedback to judge impact and improve future formats.
- Strengthen processes and capabilities so the events function delivers consistently.
What you'll bring
- 10–15 years of experience in events or experiential marketing, including leadership responsibility.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- Proven campaign management and event strategy skills across several event formats.
- Strong team leadership and stakeholder management at a senior level.
- Comfort working with data to evaluate event results honestly.
Good to have
- Experience with large-format conferences, launches or consumer events.
- Exposure to integrating live events with digital campaigns and content.
- Familiarity with event measurement and methods for judging return on investment.
