About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Bancassurance Executive to offer insurance solutions to bank customers through the branch channel. You will work alongside branch colleagues, turning their customer relationships into well-matched insurance conversations. The role suits someone early in their career who wants hands-on sales experience within a structured partnership model.
What you'll do
- Work with bank branch staff to identify account holders who may benefit from an insurance conversation.
- Meet referred customers, understand their financial needs and explain suitable insurance plans in plain terms.
- Generate fresh leads from branch walk-ins and by following up with existing account holders.
- Guide customers through proposal forms and documentation so applications move without avoidable delays.
- Keep branch partners updated on referrals and their outcomes to strengthen the working relationship.
- Track your pipeline and progress against sales goals, and flag early where you need support.
What you'll bring
- 0–4 years of experience in insurance, banking or any customer-facing sales role; freshers may also apply.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline; relevant experience may be considered for some assignments.
- Comfort explaining financial products clearly and answering customer questions with patience.
- Motivation to work towards sales goals while keeping the customer's interest firmly first.
- Good relationship skills for working with branch teams who sit outside your own reporting structure.
Good to have
- Prior experience in the BFSI or insurance sector, especially within a bank partnership channel.
- Familiarity with the basics of life and general insurance products and how they differ.
- Exposure to generating leads inside a busy bank branch environment.
