About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Banquet Sales Executive to bring in banquet bookings and look after the hosts who make them. You will meet prospective clients, show halls, prepare quotes and see bookings through to the event. The role combines selling with a strong sense of service standards.
What you'll do
- Handle walk-in and phone enquiries for weddings, parties and corporate functions.
- Conduct hall tours, explaining capacities, menus and package options to prospective hosts.
- Prepare quotations and follow up persistently to convert enquiries into reservations.
- Build relationships with event planners and corporate contacts who book regularly.
- Pass complete function details to operations and check readiness before events.
- Greet hosts on event days and resolve any concerns with the service team.
What you'll bring
- 0–4 years of experience in banquet, hotel or event sales.
- A graduate degree or diploma, preferably in hospitality, hotel management, travel or a related field.
- Persuasive communication and a genuinely guest-focused approach to every enquiry.
- Organised follow-up and coordination skills across sales, kitchen and service departments.
Good to have
- Prior experience in the hotels and restaurants sector.
- Familiarity with hotel service standards for banquets and functions.
- Exposure to wedding and social event sales in hotels.
