About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Banquet Sales Manager to own banquet sales and the client relationships behind them. You will negotiate packages, guide coordination with operations and make sure every host feels well handled from enquiry to event. The role improves both banquet revenue and the experience hosts take away.
What you'll do
- Manage the banquet sales pipeline, prioritising high-value enquiries and repeat hosts.
- Negotiate packages, menus and terms that balance client needs with profitability.
- Hold client meetings and tastings, answering questions confidently and accurately.
- Coordinate with kitchen, service and engineering teams to confirm every booked requirement.
- Follow up after events to gather feedback and secure future bookings.
- Guide banquet sales executives and coordinators on client handling and documentation.
What you'll bring
- 3–10 years of experience in banquet, hotel or event sales with client-facing responsibility.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline; relevant experience may be considered for some assignments.
- Strong negotiation and client handling skills with hosts and planners.
- Reliable coordination with operations teams before and during functions.
- Good customer service instincts and a calm manner under pressure.
Good to have
- Prior experience in the hospitality, travel or events sector.
- Familiarity with sales reporting and simple revenue forecasting.
- Exposure to both corporate and social event segments.
