About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Beauty Store Manager to run a beauty store where expert consultation drives sales. You will lead the team, keep product knowledge sharp and make sure every demonstration meets hygiene and service standards. The store's reputation depends on advice customers can trust.
What you'll do
- Run the beauty store day to day, from opening checks to cash reconciliation and closing.
- Train and refresh the team's skincare knowledge, especially when new products arrive.
- Observe consultations on the floor and give advisors specific feedback on approach and recommendations.
- Set hygiene rules for testers and demonstrations, and check they are followed every day.
- Plan upselling and routine-building approaches that feel helpful rather than pushy.
- Monitor store sales and stock, and act on slow-moving or short-dated products.
What you'll bring
- 3–7 years of experience in beauty retail, with time spent running a store or counter team.
- A graduate degree, diploma or relevant certification; exposure to beauty or skincare is preferred.
- Strong skincare knowledge and the consultation skills to demonstrate it to a team.
- Ability to coach a team on customer service and product demonstration.
- Sound handling of stock, cash and store routines.
Good to have
- Store leadership in the beauty and personal care sector.
- Familiarity with cosmetic product handling and storage standards.
- Exposure to launching new beauty products in store.
