About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Branch Sales Executive in banking and financial services. You will be a first point of contact for customers at the branch, helping them understand products, completing documentation correctly and following through until each request is closed.
What you'll do
- Greet walk-in customers, understand their needs and explain suitable banking and financial products.
- Collect and check customer documents, making sure every form is complete before submission.
- Follow up with customers on pending paperwork and keep them informed of progress.
- Coordinate with branch operations colleagues to move applications through each process step.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, conversions and follow-ups for daily review.
- Handle customer queries courteously and escalate unresolved issues to the right person.
- Explain fees, terms and timelines plainly so customers know what to expect at each stage.
What you'll bring
- 0–3 years of experience in customer handling or sales, ideally in a branch setting.
- A graduate degree in any discipline; commerce, finance, banking or customer-service exposure is preferred.
- Clear, patient communication with customers from varied backgrounds and age groups.
- Careful attention to detail with documentation and process requirements of every kind.
- Discipline in following up until each customer task is properly complete.
Good to have
- Prior experience in the Banking / Financial Services sector in a customer-facing role.
- Familiarity with customer verification and account-opening paperwork in a regulated setting.
- Exposure to cross-selling related financial products to existing branch customers.
