About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Business Development Executive – Schools to open and deepen relationships with school leadership teams. You will carry each conversation from first introduction through to an agreed partnership, and your credibility with principals and management will shape how the offering is received in schools.
What you'll do
- Identify schools that fit the offering and plan a sequence of introductory meetings with principals and trustees.
- Present the programme to school management, listening for academic priorities and adapting the pitch accordingly.
- Hold counselling-style discussions that help school leaders see how the offering supports their students.
- Keep an organised pipeline of school conversations and follow up promptly after every meeting.
- Coordinate onboarding once a school signs, making sure staff know whom to contact and what happens next.
- Revisit partner schools regularly to strengthen relationships and spot chances for renewal or expansion.
What you'll bring
- 4–8 years of experience in business development, ideally selling to schools or other educational institutions.
- You should hold a graduate degree or an MBA.
- Confident spoken and written communication with senior school staff and management committees.
- A track record of building long-term relationships rather than one-off sales.
- The discipline to manage several school conversations at different stages without losing track.
Good to have
- Prior experience in the Education or EdTech sector.
- Familiarity with how decisions are made inside school management.
- Exposure to institutional outreach programmes that run across many schools.
