About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Career Counsellor to help students choose the right course and complete their admission. You will speak with enquiring students, understand their goals, and guide them honestly toward a decision that suits them.
What you'll do
- Respond to student enquiries and hold one-to-one counselling conversations about course and career options.
- Assess each student's interests, academic background and aims before recommending a programme.
- Explain admission steps, eligibility and timelines clearly so students know what to expect.
- Follow up with prospective students who are still deciding, answering fresh questions as they arise.
- Convert genuine leads into admissions while keeping advice ethical and student-first.
- Record every interaction accurately so that colleagues can pick up the conversation if needed.
What you'll bring
- 1–5 years of experience in student counselling, admissions, education or a related sales role.
- A graduate degree; experience in counselling, sales or education is preferred.
- Warm, patient communication and a genuine interest in helping students.
- Consistent follow-up habits and the ability to manage many enquiries at once.
- Comfort working toward admissions while keeping guidance honest.
Good to have
- Exposure to lead conversion processes in an education setting.
- Familiarity with a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- Prior experience in the Education or Training sector.
