About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Career Services Executive to support students as they prepare for the next step in their careers. You will advise students one to one, coordinate career activities, and keep in close touch with the people who rely on the service.
What you'll do
- Meet students to understand their career goals and suggest practical next steps.
- Help students improve their CVs and prepare for interviews through guided counselling sessions.
- Coordinate career workshops and information sessions, handling invitations and follow-up.
- Explain the career services on offer and encourage students to make full use of them.
- Track each student's progress and check in regularly until they reach their goal.
- Keep records of sessions and outcomes so that the service can be reviewed and improved.
What you'll bring
- 0–4 years of experience in career services, counselling, education support or student-facing work.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline; relevant experience may be considered for some assignments.
- Friendly, clear communication and the patience to explain things more than once.
- Organised follow-up across many students at different stages.
- A consultative approach that puts the student's needs first.
Good to have
- Exposure to college placement drives or graduate recruitment activity.
- Familiarity with what employers look for in entry-level candidates.
- Prior experience in the Education & Student Services sector.
