About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Channel Sales Manager to run and improve sales through a partner channel. You will own partner performance, plan how the channel expands and make sure partners have what they need to sell well.
What you'll do
- Own the channel sales plan, covering partner acquisition, activation and performance.
- Review partner results and agree improvement plans with underperforming partners.
- Negotiate terms and joint business plans with key channel partners.
- Coach channel sales executives on partner engagement, reviews and difficult conversations.
- Reduce conflict between channel and direct sales through clear rules of engagement.
- Report channel performance and recommend where further investment makes sense.
- Decide where new partners are needed by mapping current coverage against market potential.
What you'll bring
- 3–10 years of experience in channel sales or partner management.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline; relevant experience may be considered for some assignments.
- Experience building and managing partner networks that deliver consistent sales.
- Strong commercial negotiation and relationship skills with partner owners.
- Analytical comfort with sales and partner data, and the habit of acting on it.
Good to have
- Prior experience setting up a new sales channel or entering a new market through partners.
- Exposure to partner enablement activity such as product briefings and joint planning.
- Familiarity with partner tiering or segmentation to focus effort where it counts.
