About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Club / Lounge Host to welcome members and guests and make their time in the lounge comfortable and personal. You will manage reservations and seating, coordinate with service staff and uphold service standards throughout. The role relies on warmth, a memory for faces and quiet attentiveness.
What you'll do
- Welcome members and guests by name where possible and escort them to their seating.
- Manage lounge reservations and waitlists, balancing walk-ins with confirmed bookings.
- Coordinate with bar and service staff so orders and requests are handled promptly.
- Watch the lounge throughout service and address noise, comfort or service concerns.
- Note member preferences and share them with the team for future visits.
- Keep the entrance and host stand tidy, informed and ready for arrivals.
What you'll bring
- 0–3 years of experience in hospitality, guest relations or front-of-house roles.
- A graduate degree or diploma, preferably in hospitality, hotel management, travel or a related field.
- A courteous manner and confident communication with members and guests.
- A good memory for names, preferences and the finer details.
- Composure and good judgement when the lounge is busy.
Good to have
- Prior experience in the hotels and restaurants sector.
- Exposure to members' clubs, airport lounges or fine-dining reception.
- Familiarity with digital reservation and waitlist systems used in hospitality.
