About the role
HappinessCue is hiring a Community Manager to own its career, spiritual and wider expert-led communities. The role sets how these communities are run, how independent experts take part in them, and how community activity connects with programmes, content and partnerships.
What you'll do
- Own the community plan for career and spiritual audiences, deciding formats, rhythms and priorities.
- Work with independent experts to plan community activities such as expert-led discussions and question sessions.
- Set moderation standards and escalation steps, and make sure they are applied consistently.
- Coordinate with content and programme colleagues so community members hear about relevant offerings.
- Build relationships with partner groups and stakeholders who can bring new members into the communities.
- Measure engagement, retention and member feedback, and use the findings to improve community activity.
What you'll bring
- 3–7 years of experience in community management, audience engagement or stakeholder relations.
- Graduate or postgraduate education in a relevant discipline, or relevant experience where an assignment allows it.
- Proven ability to grow and sustain an engaged, well-moderated community.
- Strong stakeholder management with experts, partners and internal teams.
- Clear judgement on moderation, tone and sensitive conversations in shared spaces.
Good to have
- Prior experience in the careers, professional development or spiritual sector.
- Familiarity with community analytics, engagement reporting and member surveys.
- Exposure to running communities that include independent professionals as contributors.
