About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Conference Production Manager to build compelling conference content and the production that delivers it. You will research themes, secure speakers and manage vendors so every programme runs to plan.
What you'll do
- Research sector themes and turn them into conference agendas with strong session ideas.
- Identify, approach and confirm speakers, then brief them clearly on session goals.
- Plan stage production, audio-visual and staging needs together with vendors.
- Prepare run-of-show documents and cue sheets for each conference day.
- Manage vendor timelines, quality and costs through to final delivery.
- Lead the production team and coordinate closely with sales and marketing colleagues.
What you'll bring
- 6–10 years of experience in conference production, content research or event production.
- A graduate degree, which is the required qualification for this role.
- Strong research and agenda-building skills grounded in audience needs.
- Experience handling speakers and production vendors at the same time.
- The ability to lead a team through demanding production schedules.
Good to have
- Familiarity with how B2B conferences are structured and funded.
- Exposure to live streaming and session recording setups.
- Experience moderating or scripting panel discussions with senior speakers.
