About the role

One of our prestigious clients is hiring a D2C Business Manager to grow its direct-to-consumer business in the consumer and beauty space. You will own commercial planning for the D2C channel and lead the team that turns that plan into steady, profitable growth.

What you'll do

  • Own the D2C channel's business plan, including revenue, margin and customer acquisition goals.
  • Drive D2C growth through better site experience, assortment, pricing and repeat-purchase programmes.
  • Work with marketing and content teams to plan launches and seasonal campaigns for beauty and consumer products.
  • Track traffic, conversion, basket size and retention, and act quickly on what the numbers show.
  • Lead and develop the D2C team, setting priorities and reviewing progress against the commercial plan.
  • Manage relationships with agencies, platform partners and key clients that support the D2C business.

What you'll bring

  • 6–10 years of experience in D2C, e-commerce or consumer brand management roles.
  • An MBA or PGDM qualification, which is required for this role.
  • Strong commercial planning skills and comfort owning a channel's numbers end to end.
  • Experience managing teams and cross-functional partners to deliver growth.
  • A clear grasp of online consumer behaviour and what drives people to buy again.

Good to have

  • Prior experience in the consumer or beauty sector.
  • Exposure to subscription, loyalty or community-led growth models.
  • Familiarity with website analytics and customer data platforms.
