About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Dispatch Executive to make sure every shipment leaves correctly packed, documented and on schedule. Accurate dispatch prevents delays and disputes further down the chain, and keeps customers and sales colleagues properly informed.
What you'll do
- Prepare the day's dispatch plan from confirmed orders and the stock actually available.
- Check packed goods against each order for item, quantity and condition before loading begins.
- Prepare dispatch documents such as invoices, delivery challans and packing lists.
- Coordinate vehicle arrival times with transporters and logistics vendors to avoid idle waiting.
- Record dispatch details and share tracking information with customers or sales colleagues.
- Follow up on in-transit shipments until the consignee confirms delivery.
What you'll bring
- 0–3 years of experience in dispatch, warehousing or outbound logistics.
- A graduate degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain, operations or a related field is preferred.
- Accuracy with documents, quantities and consignment details under time pressure.
- Good coordination with transporters, packers and internal stores staff.
- A habit of double-checking paperwork before a vehicle is allowed to depart.
Good to have
- Exposure to e-way bill generation and other shipping documentation processes.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and dispatch modules within them.
- Prior experience in the Logistics / Supply Chain sector in an outbound role.
