About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring an E-commerce Operations Associate to help orders move from checkout to the customer's doorstep without hiccups. You will process and monitor orders, sort out exceptions and keep the operations team informed with timely reports.
What you'll do
- Process daily orders, checking stock and address details before releasing them to the warehouse.
- Monitor order queues for delays, failed dispatches and exceptions, and escalate anything that is stuck.
- Coordinate with warehouse and courier partners to resolve shipping issues and update order status.
- Update catalogue records when stock or product details change so that availability shown online is accurate.
- Prepare daily operations reports on orders processed, shipments pending and exceptions raised.
- Follow up on customer-affecting issues with the support team until they are closed.
What you'll bring
- 0–3 years of experience in e-commerce, logistics or back-end operations; freshers are welcome.
- A graduate degree in any discipline; good computer and communication skills are preferred.
- Accuracy with data and a methodical approach to routine tasks.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets and order management screens.
- Clear communication and dependable follow-up with other teams.
Good to have
- Exposure to warehouse, packing or courier operations for online orders.
- Familiarity with the order management systems used by online sellers.
- A prior internship or role in the internet and e-commerce sector.
