About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring an Education Counselling Intern to help students and parents make informed choices about courses and programmes. The internship combines counselling support with institutional outreach, and it matters because every well-handled conversation helps a learner choose with confidence.
What you'll do
- Respond to student and parent enquiries about programmes, eligibility and admission steps.
- Support counsellors in guidance sessions by preparing course information and taking notes.
- Follow up with prospective students to answer their questions and keep them informed.
- Help with institutional outreach by coordinating information sessions with schools and colleges.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, counselling conversations and agreed follow-up dates.
- Collect the questions and worries students raise most often to improve counselling material.
What you'll bring
- Freshers, or 0–1 year of experience in counselling, tutoring, mentoring or student support.
- An undergraduate qualification, or current enrolment while pursuing graduation.
- Patient, empathetic communication with students and their families at every stage.
- The ability to build trust and keep a relationship going over several conversations.
- Organised note-taking and dependable follow-up on every promise you make.
Good to have
- Exposure to admissions work, course guidance or student services at a college.
- Familiarity with how online learning programmes are structured and delivered.
- Prior experience in the Education / EdTech sector.
