About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring an Education Counsellor to be the first knowledgeable voice that prospective students hear. You will answer their questions, help them understand the courses on offer, and support them from first enquiry to admission.
What you'll do
- Call and meet prospective students who have shown interest, and learn what they hope to study.
- Describe course content, duration and outcomes accurately and without overpromising.
- Guide applicants through the admission paperwork and keep them informed at every stage.
- Keep in touch with leads through calls and messages until they reach a decision.
- Note every conversation in the enquiry records so that nothing is missed.
- Pass on common student questions so that course information can be improved.
What you'll bring
- 0–3 years of experience in counselling, admissions, education or sales; freshers with strong communication are welcome.
- A graduate degree; experience in counselling, sales or education is preferred.
- Friendly, clear communication and a genuine wish to help students choose well.
- Steady follow-up habits and good attention to detail.
Good to have
- Exposure to lead conversion in an admissions setting.
- Prior experience in the Education or Training sector.
- Familiarity with recording enquiries in a CRM system.
