About the role

One of our prestigious clients is hiring an Event Host / Presenter to guide audiences through events with confidence and warmth. You will hold the stage between sessions, keep the programme on time and help guests know what is happening next.

What you'll do

  • Study the run of show, speaker details and key messages before each event.
  • Open and close events, introduce speakers and link sessions smoothly from the stage.
  • Keep the programme on time by working closely with the coordination team backstage.
  • Engage the audience with announcements, interactions and simple activities between sessions.
  • Handle on-stage surprises, such as delays or technical gaps, without losing the audience.
  • Welcome and guide guests at registration or hospitality areas when you are not presenting.

What you'll bring

  • 0–3 years of experience hosting, compering, anchoring or presenting at events; freshers may apply.
  • A graduate degree in any discipline is the minimum qualification.
  • Clear diction, stage presence and confidence in front of an audience.
  • Quick thinking and composure when the programme changes without warning.
  • Careful preparation, including learning names and their correct pronunciation.

Good to have

  • A background in Event Management or Hospitality studies or related work.
  • A showreel or recordings of events you have hosted.
  • Experience scripting your own links, introductions and announcements for events.
