About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring an Event Production Manager to take responsibility for the technical and physical build of events. You will plan production, control budgets and lead the vendors and crew who bring each design to life.
What you'll do
- Translate creative designs into production plans covering staging, sets, lighting, sound and video.
- Select and brief production vendors, negotiating costs and checking capability before committing.
- Build and control production budgets, approving changes and tracking actual spend.
- Lead build, rehearsal and teardown at the venue, holding vendors to timelines and safety standards.
- Manage the production team, assigning responsibilities and deepening their technical know-how.
- Review production quality after each event and refine vendor choices and methods.
What you'll bring
- 7–11 years of experience in event production, with ownership of budgets and vendors.
- A graduate degree, which is the required qualification for this role.
- Strong working knowledge of staging, audio-visual systems and set fabrication.
- Proven budget control and firm negotiation with production suppliers.
- Team leadership on build days and during live shows.
Good to have
- Experience producing concerts, award shows or major brand launches.
- Familiarity with technical drawings and venue load-in plans.
- Exposure to health and safety planning for live events.
