About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring an Event Project Manager to bring structure to complex events, keeping every workstream on time and on budget. You will plan timelines, coordinate vendors and lead the people delivering each project.
What you'll do
- Break each event into workstreams, milestones and dependencies, and publish a clear project plan.
- Track progress against timelines, chasing slippage early and resetting dates where necessary.
- Coordinate vendors across production, venue, hospitality and logistics workstreams.
- Run regular status meetings with internal teams and clients, recording decisions and risks.
- Lead the project team, matching tasks to strengths and supporting people through busy phases.
- Manage change requests, assessing their impact on scope, cost and schedule before agreeing them.
- Close projects with a structured review covering budget, delivery and lessons learned.
What you'll bring
- 6–10 years of experience managing event projects from planning to closure.
- Graduation as the essential qualification, in any discipline.
- Strong project planning and timeline management skills for live events with fixed dates.
- Vendor coordination across several workstreams at once without losing track of details.
- Team leadership and clear communication with stakeholders at every level.
Good to have
- Familiarity with project management methods such as Gantt charts and critical paths.
- Experience delivering multi-day or multi-venue events from plan to closure.
- Exposure to risk registers and contingency planning for live events.
