About the role
HappinessCue is inviting independent mindfulness and meditation teachers to join its expert network. Beginners and regular practitioners alike book sessions on HappinessCue to learn or deepen a practice with an experienced teacher; applications are made on CareerBricks, reviewed by the HappinessCue team, and suitable teachers are invited to register on HappinessCue. This is an independent engagement, not employment.
What you'll do
- Teach mindfulness and meditation practices to people who book sessions with you.
- Introduce beginners to posture, breath awareness and simple guided practices they can repeat on their own.
- Lead guided meditations suited to each person's experience and what they hope to explore.
- Help regular practitioners deepen their practice, work through common obstacles and keep a steady routine.
- Explain the ideas behind each technique in plain language, without making claims about medical or physical outcomes.
- Answer questions after practice and suggest ways to bring mindful attention into daily activities.
- This is guidance, mentoring or coaching. It does not include diagnosis or treatment.
What you'll bring
- Demonstrable experience as a mindfulness or meditation teacher, alongside a personal practice of your own.
- Training in a recognised mindfulness or meditation tradition or teaching programme.
- A clear, calm teaching voice and the ability to adapt practices for different people.
- Care in describing what meditation offers, avoiding promises about physical or mental outcomes.
- Readiness to go through onboarding and verification with HappinessCue. Engagement terms are shared during onboarding.
Good to have
- Experience teaching mindfulness in workplaces, schools or community settings.
- Familiarity with more than one contemplative tradition.
- Experience designing meditation programmes that run across several sessions.
