About the role

HappinessCue is inviting independent relationship and parenting guides to join its expert network. Parents, couples and families book sessions on HappinessCue for practical perspective on everyday relationship and parenting questions, and suitable guides are invited to register on HappinessCue once the HappinessCue team has reviewed their CareerBricks applications. This is an independent engagement, not employment.

What you'll do

  • Offer practical guidance to parents on routines, screen time, communication and age-appropriate expectations.
  • Help couples who book you reflect on communication patterns and agree ways to talk through disagreements.
  • Share approaches for common family situations, such as sibling conflict or adjusting to a new baby.
  • Help parents of teenagers think through boundaries, independence and keeping conversations open.
  • Listen without taking sides, keeping each session respectful, balanced and focused on the people present.
  • Recognise signs that someone may be unsafe and point them to appropriate professional or emergency help.
  • This is guidance, mentoring or coaching. It does not include diagnosis or treatment.

What you'll bring

  • Demonstrable experience as a parenting educator, family guide or relationship guide.
  • Sound knowledge of child development and family dynamics as they show up in everyday life.
  • A non-judgemental manner with people from varied family structures, cultures and beliefs.
  • Discretion and respect for confidentiality in conversations that are often deeply personal.
  • Willingness to be onboarded and verified by HappinessCue. Engagement terms are shared during onboarding.

Good to have

  • Experience running parenting workshops or family-life programmes.
  • Experience guiding families through changes such as separation, relocation or blended households.
  • Training in mediation or structured communication skills.
