About the role
HappinessCue is inviting independent spiritual and life-purpose guides to join its expert network. People searching for meaning, values or a sense of direction book sessions on HappinessCue to reflect with a thoughtful guide, and suitable guides are invited to register on HappinessCue after the HappinessCue team reviews applications made on CareerBricks. This is an independent engagement, not employment.
What you'll do
- Hold reflective conversations with people who book you about meaning, values and what matters most to them.
- Draw on your spiritual tradition or contemplative practice where the person welcomes it, never imposing a belief.
- Help people explore questions of purpose through journaling prompts, reflection exercises and contemplative practices.
- Walk alongside people at turning points, such as a loss, a change of path or a new stage of life.
- Keep a respectful, open stance towards every faith, philosophy and personal belief.
- Make no promises about spiritual, emotional or physical outcomes, and suggest other professionals when a concern needs them.
- This is guidance, mentoring or coaching. It does not include diagnosis or treatment.
What you'll bring
- Demonstrable experience as a spiritual guide, life-purpose mentor or teacher within a contemplative tradition.
- A deep personal practice and the ability to speak about it simply and without pressure.
- Respect for religious and cultural diversity, and comfort with people who hold no particular faith.
- Clear boundaries and confidentiality in conversations that can be deeply personal.
- Willingness to go through HappinessCue's onboarding and verification. Engagement terms are shared during onboarding.
Good to have
- Experience running retreats, satsangs or reflective group programmes.
- Formal study in philosophy, comparative religion or a contemplative discipline.
- Familiarity with life-purpose or values-clarification frameworks.
