About the role
HappinessCue is inviting independent stress and mindset coaches to join its expert network. People feeling stretched by work, study or daily pressures book coaching sessions on HappinessCue to build practical habits and a steadier outlook; you apply on CareerBricks, and the HappinessCue team reviews each application before inviting suitable coaches to register on HappinessCue. This is an independent engagement, not employment.
What you'll do
- Map out, with each individual who books you, the situations, habits and thoughts that add to daily pressure.
- Teach practical techniques such as breathing exercises, planning routines and setting firm limits on commitments.
- Help individuals reframe unhelpful thinking about setbacks and build a more constructive mindset.
- Work through workload, deadlines and saying no, so that obligations at work or study feel manageable.
- Agree small experiments to try between meetings and examine together what shifted and what stayed the same.
- Spot signs of distress that sit outside your remit and point the individual towards a suitably qualified specialist.
- This is guidance, mentoring or coaching. It does not include diagnosis or treatment.
What you'll bring
- Demonstrable experience as a stress management coach, mindset coach or resilience trainer.
- Working knowledge of structured approaches to habit change, goal-setting and shifting perspective.
- A calm, practical presence that helps people feel heard and then helps them act.
- A clear sense of scope, knowing which concerns sit outside a stress or mindset conversation.
- Readiness for HappinessCue's verification and onboarding steps. Engagement terms are shared during onboarding.
Good to have
- Experience delivering resilience or workplace well-being workshops.
- Training in cognitive or behavioural techniques for habit change, applied within a coaching frame.
- Exposure to working with students through demanding examination periods.
