About the role
HappinessCue is inviting independent well-being and life coaches to join its expert network. People who want more balance, direction or confidence in everyday life book coaching sessions on HappinessCue, and after the HappinessCue team reviews applications made through CareerBricks, suitable coaches are invited to register on HappinessCue. This is an independent engagement, not employment.
What you'll do
- Coach people who book you on goals such as routine, balance, confidence and personal direction.
- Help clients notice patterns in how they spend their time and energy, and choose small changes to try.
- Use goal-setting and reflective tools to turn a vague wish into a concrete next step.
- Give clients room to talk openly while keeping each session focused and purposeful.
- Review progress in follow-up sessions, acknowledging what worked and adjusting what did not.
- Recognise when a concern goes beyond coaching and suggest the person seek an appropriately qualified professional.
- This is guidance, mentoring or coaching. It does not include diagnosis or treatment.
What you'll bring
- Demonstrable experience as a life coach or well-being coach working one-to-one with individuals.
- A grounded understanding of established coaching methods and ethical coaching practice.
- Warmth and good listening, combined with the discipline to keep conversations goal-focused.
- Clear boundaries about the limits of coaching and about confidentiality within it.
- Readiness to complete onboarding and verification on HappinessCue. Engagement terms are shared during onboarding.
Good to have
- A recognised coaching credential from an established professional coaching body.
- Experience coaching people through life transitions such as relocation, a new role or retirement.
- Familiarity with journaling or mindfulness practices used alongside coaching.
