About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Fashion Events Assistant to support fashion events with styling help, visual presentation and smooth coordination. It is a learning role for someone with a good eye who enjoys detail.
What you'll do
- Assist stylists with garment preparation, steaming, tagging and outfit changes during events.
- Help arrange displays, racks and props so collections are presented attractively.
- Coordinate fittings and look lists with models and stylists ahead of each event.
- Welcome guests and buyers, offering courteous help and information.
- Keep track of garments and accessories, logging what goes out and comes back.
- Support setup and pack-down of event spaces with the events team.
What you'll bring
- 0–3 years of experience in fashion, styling, retail or events; freshers are welcome.
- A graduate degree or diploma, preferably in Fashion, Design, Merchandising or a related field.
- A good eye for styling, colour and visual presentation.
- Warm customer service manners with guests and buyers.
- Organised, careful handling of garments and accessories on busy event days.
Good to have
- Awareness of current fashion trends, designers and seasonal collections.
- Exposure to fashion shows, exhibitions or store events.
- Familiarity with the basics of visual merchandising and display.
