About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Fashion Store Associate to assist shoppers on the floor and keep the store looking its best. You will help customers find the right size and style, suggest pieces that go together and keep displays neat. Small styling suggestions can make a shopper's visit easier and more enjoyable.
What you'll do
- Assist shoppers with sizes, fits and colours, checking the stockroom when an item is not on the floor.
- Suggest simple pairings, such as a shirt with trousers, that complete a look.
- Fold, hang and arrange garments by size and colour throughout the day.
- Look after the fitting rooms, returning unwanted items to the floor promptly.
- Coordinate with colleagues on deliveries so new stock reaches the floor quickly.
- Keep displays in line with the store's visual presentation guidelines.
What you'll bring
- 0–3 years of experience in retail or customer service; freshers are welcome to apply.
- A graduate degree or diploma in fashion, design, merchandising or a related field is preferred.
- Interest in fashion and an eye for current styles.
- Courteous, patient service with every shopper, including the undecided ones.
- Reliability as part of a store team on busy days.
Good to have
- Previous work in the fashion, garments or textile sector.
- Familiarity with basic styling principles and colour pairing.
- Exposure to stock handling and receiving deliveries in a store.
