About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Fleet Coordination Executive to keep vehicles assigned, tracked and ready for each trip. You will coordinate drivers, fleet vendors and dispatch schedules so that the fleet is used well and trips start and finish on time.
What you'll do
- Allocate vehicles to trips based on load, route and current availability.
- Track vehicle movement through the day and update trip status for dispatch colleagues.
- Coordinate with fleet vendors on vehicle availability, breakdowns and replacements.
- Maintain vehicle permits and compliance papers, flagging renewals well before they fall due.
- Follow up with drivers on delays, detentions and the return of delivery proofs.
- Record trip-wise data accurately so that fleet utilisation reports can be prepared.
What you'll bring
- 0–3 years of experience in fleet, transport or dispatch coordination.
- A graduate degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain, operations or a related field is preferred.
- Organised tracking and documentation habits covering vehicles, trips and papers.
- Firm, clear communication with drivers and fleet vendors when plans change.
- The ability to reshuffle vehicle allocations quickly when a breakdown occurs.
Good to have
- Exposure to GPS-based vehicle tracking and trip monitoring.
- Familiarity with vehicle compliance and permit requirements for commercial fleets.
- Prior experience in the Logistics / Supply Chain sector managing owned or hired vehicles.
