About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Guest Experience Manager – Events to own how attendees, VIPs and hosts feel at every event the team delivers. You will design service standards, manage the guest-facing team and work closely with clients so their guests are looked after without fuss. This role turns event plans into experiences people remember for the right reasons.
What you'll do
- Define the guest journey for each event, from invitation and arrival through to departure.
- Plan VIP handling protocols, including dedicated hosts, holding areas and discreet escalation routes.
- Lead, brief and roster the guest experience team, setting clear service expectations for every event.
- Act as the client's point of contact for guest-related decisions, preferences and sensitivities.
- Review feedback after each event and refine service standards, scripts and checklists accordingly.
- Contribute to business planning by estimating guest service requirements and costs for upcoming events.
What you'll bring
- 4–10 years of experience in guest experience, events or hospitality service management.
- A graduate degree, supported by a solid grounding in hospitality or event service standards.
- Proven experience managing VIPs and high-profile guests with tact and discretion.
- Ability to lead, motivate and steady a guest-facing team when an event is under pressure.
- Strong client management skills and confidence in presenting service plans to decision-makers.
Good to have
- Prior experience in the events or hospitality sector in senior guest-facing positions.
- Exposure to service recovery for high-visibility gatherings with demanding audiences.
- Familiarity with RSVP and guest management tools for tracking attendance and preferences.
