About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Guest Services Coordinator to act as the switchboard between guests and the departments that serve them. Requests, reservation notes and service follow-ups all pass through this role, so careful coordination keeps every stay running smoothly.
What you'll do
- Log incoming requests for amenities, repairs, wake-up calls or dining and route each one to the correct department.
- Review the next day's reservations for notes such as early check-ins, celebrations or accessibility requirements.
- Chase open requests until they are completed and confirm the outcome with whoever asked.
- Maintain a clear handover log so incoming colleagues can pick up pending tasks without gaps.
- Relay operational updates, such as room readiness or maintenance work, to the colleagues who need them.
- Prepare simple daily summaries of requests handled and recurring issues for the operations team.
What you'll bring
- 0–3 years of experience in guest services, coordination or another customer-facing hospitality role.
- A graduate degree or diploma in hospitality, hotel management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organisation, with a habit of writing everything down and ticking it off once done.
- Polite, efficient communication on the phone, in person and through internal messaging.
- Readiness to learn how hotel departments operate and how they depend on each other.
Good to have
- Internship or training exposure in a hotel guest services or operations team.
- Familiarity with property management systems or simple request-tracking tools.
- Prior experience in the hotels and restaurants sector, even through a short placement.
