About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Head – Event Production to set the direction for how events are produced and how they serve wider marketing goals. You will connect production decisions to campaign objectives, lead the production function and use data to judge what each event delivers. The role sits where creative ambition, budgets and stakeholder expectations meet.
What you'll do
- Set the production strategy so every event supports the marketing and campaign plan it belongs to.
- Lead production managers and specialists, building capability to deliver consistently across many projects.
- Work with senior marketing and business stakeholders to agree scope, priorities and measures of success.
- Oversee campaign timelines so production milestones, launches and live moments line up precisely.
- Introduce analytics that measure event performance, audience response and value against cost.
- Review completed productions, share lessons openly and raise standards for planning and execution.
What you'll bring
- 11–16 years of experience in event production, experiential or campaign-led marketing, including leadership roles.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline such as marketing, media or management.
- A track record of shaping marketing strategy and turning it into produced, measurable events.
- Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders, agencies and creative partners.
- Comfort using analytics to guide production decisions and explain results to leadership.
Good to have
- Prior experience in the events and production sector at a senior level.
- Exposure to integrated campaigns that span live events, content and other channels.
- Familiarity with production budgeting and vendor negotiation for complex shows.
