About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Head – Retail Business to own the business end to end, from strategy to expansion. You will run the P&L, plan where the business grows next, then direct the teams that turn plans into store results. The role suits a leader who thinks commercially and acts decisively.
What you'll do
- Own the P&L, setting business targets, budgets as well as priorities.
- Plan expansion, from market evaluation through to new store launch.
- Set the strategy for fashion categories along with the shopping experience in stores.
- Develop the leadership team across operations, sales or planning.
- Make firm calls on underperforming stores or categories after regular business reviews.
- Build relationships with partners, landlords or other stakeholders who matter to expansion.
What you'll bring
- 11–15 years of experience in retail or fashion, with business or P&L leadership.
- An MBA or PGDM qualification is required for this role.
- A record of growing a fashion business while widening its footprint.
- Strong team management combined with confident, timely decision-making.
- Rigorous business planning with a sound financial understanding of store economics.
Good to have
- Prior experience in the fashion retail sector at a senior level.
- Exposure to franchise or partnership-led routes to expansion.
