About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Head – Retail Excellence to define what great looks like in every store, then steer the transformation needed to get there. You will set standards, run improvement initiatives, while building a team that helps stores adopt them. The role raises the bar for client experience across the retail and luxury business.
What you'll do
- Define standards covering service, presentation, operations or client handling.
- Steer transformation initiatives that change how stores operate day to day.
- Build an excellence team that audits stores, coaches teams, then tracks adoption.
- Measure standards consistently, reporting progress to senior leadership.
- Work with operations, training or merchandising leaders to embed new practices.
- Create business cases for excellence initiatives with clear costs plus expected returns.
What you'll bring
- 10–14 years of experience in retail operations, excellence or transformation, including leadership roles.
- An MBA or PGDM is required for this role.
- Proven experience designing standards, then embedding them across stores.
- Strong change leadership with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- The ability to build, then manage, a specialist excellence team.
Good to have
- Prior experience in luxury retail with exacting client expectations.
- Exposure to operational excellence or process improvement methods.
