About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Head – School Partnerships to define and lead the strategy for partnering with schools. You will decide where the partnership effort goes, lead the most important relationships personally, and build a function able to win and keep school partners.
What you'll do
- Shape the school partnerships strategy, including target segments, value proposition and partnership models.
- Lead senior-level conversations with school groups, trustees and education leaders.
- Build and develop the partnerships team, setting clear expectations and coaching for results.
- Oversee the partnership pipeline and the quality of every major proposal and agreement.
- Create frameworks for onboarding, reviewing and renewing school partnerships.
- Represent the organisation in education forums and with senior external stakeholders.
- Partner with internal leadership to align school partnerships with business priorities.
What you'll bring
- 10–15 years of experience in business development or institutional partnerships, with significant work alongside schools.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated team leadership and the ability to build capability across a function.
- Senior-level stakeholder management and negotiation skills with trustees and education leaders.
- Strategic thinking grounded in a practical understanding of how schools operate.
Good to have
- Exposure to partnerships with school chains or education groups.
- Prior experience in the Education Partnerships sector at a senior level.
- Familiarity with education policy developments that affect schools.
