About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Head – Store Operations to make sure every store runs efficiently and safely, always to standard. You will set store procedures, direct the store operations team, then use performance data to improve how stores work. The role underpins both the customer experience and the sales stores deliver.
What you'll do
- Set store operating procedures for opening, stock handling, housekeeping or closing.
- Direct the store operations team, setting clear performance measures for each role.
- Monitor compliance, shrinkage or audit results, driving corrective action.
- Plan staffing norms that match customer footfall at different times of day.
- Improve efficiency so store teams can spend more time with customers.
- Partner with sales leadership on store-level selling as well as service.
What you'll bring
- 11–16 years of experience in retail store operations, including leadership of multi-store teams.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- Detailed knowledge of store processes, controls plus compliance requirements.
- Strong performance management with proven team leadership across many stores.
- A practical, data-informed approach to solving operational problems.
Good to have
- Exposure to loss prevention or inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Experience rolling out new store processes across a network.
