About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Hotel Sales Manager to own a portfolio of accounts and bring in business that fits the hotel's calendar and pricing. You will negotiate deals, coordinate delivery with operations and give clients good reasons to return.
What you'll do
- Manage an assigned set of accounts, planning regular contact and spotting new booking opportunities within each.
- Lead negotiations on room blocks, event packages and annual rate agreements.
- Settle contract details with reservations, banqueting and finance colleagues before confirming anything to a client.
- Check in after each stay or event to gather feedback and discuss the next booking.
- Resolve service issues raised by clients quickly and in a way that protects the relationship.
- Prepare monthly summaries of sales activity and pipeline for hotel management.
What you'll bring
- 3–10 years of experience in hotel or hospitality sales with direct account responsibility.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline; relevant experience may be considered for some assignments.
- Proven negotiation skills on room rates, event contracts and bundled packages.
- Strong client handling and a service-minded approach to account management.
- Good planning habits and consistent, well-documented follow-up with every account.
Good to have
- An existing network of corporate or event bookers in hospitality.
- Exposure to revenue and pricing discussions with hotel colleagues.
- Prior experience in the hospitality, travel or events sector.
