About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Loan Sales Manager to drive loan sales and strengthen the sources that bring in good-quality borrowers. You will own sales outcomes, build referral relationships and guide the sales executives working with you on conversion and file quality. Your decisions on sourcing and follow-up will directly shape the loan book.
What you'll do
- Build and manage relationships with referral sources and partners that generate consistent loan leads.
- Guide sales executives on lead qualification, customer conversations and complete documentation.
- Personally handle larger or more complex borrower cases through to sanction.
- Track the sales funnel from lead to disbursement and step in wherever conversion drops.
- Work with credit and operations teams to resolve file issues and reduce turnaround delays.
- Analyse sourcing quality and rejection reasons to sharpen which leads the team pursues.
What you'll bring
- 3–7 years of experience in loan or financial product sales, including ownership of sales goals.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline, or relevant experience where an assignment allows it.
- Strong understanding of lending products, eligibility rules and the documentation they require.
- The ability to coach others and keep motivation steady across the full sales cycle.
- Sound negotiation and relationship skills with both customers and referral partners.
Good to have
- Prior experience in the BFSI sector across both secured and unsecured lending.
- Familiarity with credit policy and the way it should shape sourcing decisions.
- Exposure to managing connector or channel relationships for loan sourcing.
