About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Logistics Coordinator to coordinate the movement of goods between suppliers, warehouses and customers. Your tracking and follow-up make the whole chain visible, so that problems are caught early, before they turn into missed delivery dates.
What you'll do
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with transporters and warehouse staff.
- Track consignments and keep stakeholders updated on expected arrival dates and any slippage.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents for every movement of goods.
- Work with vendors to resolve shortages, transit damage and delays as they arise.
- Maintain logistics trackers along with records of freight costs for each shipment.
- Highlight bottlenecks that keep recurring and suggest practical ways to remove them.
What you'll bring
- 0–3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain coordination.
- A graduate degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain, operations or a related field is preferred.
- Good organisation and tracking discipline across many shipments at once.
- Clear communication with transporters, vendors and customers about status and changes.
- A problem-solving instinct when a consignment goes off plan.
Good to have
- Exposure to freight forwarding or multimodal transport arrangements.
- Familiarity with spreadsheets for shipment tracking and freight cost records.
- Prior experience in the Logistics / Supply Chain sector coordinating both inbound and outbound flows.
