About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Lounge Operations Manager to run airport lounge operations to a consistently high standard for every guest. You will manage the lounge team, set service standards and oversee the day-to-day running and planning of the lounge.
What you'll do
- Set lounge service standards for reception, food and beverage, cleanliness and guest assistance.
- Plan staffing and duty rosters around flight schedules and expected guest volumes.
- Train, coach and review lounge teams, building strong hosting and service skills.
- Manage stock, supplies and vendor services that keep the lounge well provisioned.
- Handle guest escalations and queries from access partners while keeping those relationships healthy.
- Contribute to business planning with cost, guest volume and service quality reports.
What you'll bring
- 6–10 years of experience in lounge, hotel or food and beverage operations, including team management.
- A formal qualification in hotel management is required for this role.
- Strong command of service standards and hospitality operations.
- Experience planning staffing levels and controlling operating costs.
- Calm, visible leadership when the lounge is at its busiest.
Good to have
- Exposure to hospitality within an airport or wider aviation setting.
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene audits and their follow-up.
- Prior experience in the aviation or hospitality sector.
