About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Makeup & Beauty Artist to deliver makeup and beauty services that have clients looking and feeling their best. You will consult clients, apply looks with skill and follow strict hygiene practices. Your work is the client's experience, so craft and care matter equally.
What you'll do
- Consult clients on the look they want, considering skin tone, occasion and preferences.
- Apply makeup and perform beauty services with precision and a confident touch.
- Recommend products from the range and explain how clients can recreate the look.
- Follow strict hygiene routines for brushes, applicators and work surfaces.
- Maintain your own grooming and keep your station organised and well stocked.
- Handle client queries and feedback courteously, adjusting the look where needed.
What you'll bring
- 0–4 years of experience as a makeup or beauty artist.
- A relevant professional certification or diploma, with practical skills you can demonstrate.
- Strong product knowledge across makeup and skincare preparation.
- Excellent hygiene habits that never slip on busy days.
- Courteous client handling and a calm manner in the chair.
Good to have
- Artistry experience in the beauty and personal care sector.
- Familiarity with bridal or occasion makeup for longer sessions.
- Exposure to skincare preparation steps before makeup application.
