About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Management Trainee – Retail to learn the retail business from the store floor upwards. You will support store teams, analyse problems, coordinate tasks, then present what you find. It is a role for early-career graduates who want to understand retail from the inside.
What you'll do
- Support store teams in daily operations to understand customers, stock or service routines.
- Analyse sales data to identify problems along with possible improvements.
- Coordinate projects across store and support teams, tracking them to completion.
- Prepare clear presentations of your findings, then deliver them with recommendations.
- Write concise business updates, meeting notes or summaries for managers.
- Learn store procedures thoroughly, applying them consistently on the floor.
What you'll bring
- 0–2 years of experience in retail, sales or any customer-facing role; recent graduates are welcome.
- A graduate degree in any discipline; an MBA or PGDM is preferred but not mandatory.
- Analytical thinking with a structured approach to problem solving.
- Clear business communication backed by confident presentation skills.
- Willingness to work on the store floor, learning by doing.
Good to have
- Internship or project experience in retail or consumer businesses.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets for basic data analysis.
