About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Modern Trade Executive in FMCG to look after product presence in supermarkets and organised retail stores. You will visit stores, coordinate stock with distributors and make sure displays and reporting are always in order.
What you'll do
- Visit modern trade stores to check stock levels, price labels and shelf placement.
- Coordinate replenishment with distributors so fast-moving products do not run out.
- Implement planograms and in-store displays agreed with the retail chains you cover.
- Build working relationships with store managers and category staff in each outlet.
- Report store-level sales, stock gaps and competitor activity on time and accurately.
- Support the execution of promotional activity and special displays inside stores.
- Raise expiry, damage or return issues with the distributor before they become disputes.
What you'll bring
- 0–4 years of experience in FMCG sales, modern trade or retail merchandising.
- A graduate degree in any discipline; sales, marketing or FMCG exposure is preferred.
- A sharp eye for how products look on the shelf and what customers see first.
- Disciplined reporting habits and comfort with basic stock and sales numbers.
- Courteous, persistent communication with store teams and distributor staff.
Good to have
- Prior experience in the FMCG sector working with supermarket or hypermarket chains.
- Familiarity with planograms, facings and shelf-share checks in organised retail.
- Exposure to retailer ordering cycles and how chains place replenishment orders.
