About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring an Operations Manager – E-commerce to make sure every order is fulfilled accurately and on time. You will own order and fulfilment operations, manage the operations team and improve processes so the business can handle more volume with fewer errors.
What you'll do
- Own the order-to-delivery process, from order receipt and picking to dispatch and delivery confirmation.
- Set fulfilment standards for speed and accuracy and review performance with the team daily.
- Identify bottlenecks in order processing and run process improvement projects to remove them.
- Plan capacity for sale events and peak seasons with warehouse and courier partners.
- Manage and develop the operations team, setting clear roles and reviewing performance.
- Handle relationships with logistics partners and key clients, resolving service failures quickly.
What you'll bring
- 6–10 years of experience in e-commerce operations, fulfilment or logistics.
- A management postgraduate degree, meaning an MBA or PGDM.
- Strong process improvement skills and a data-led approach to running operations.
- Experience managing operations teams through festive peaks and other high-volume periods.
- Good business planning skills and firm, fair management of service partners.
Good to have
- Exposure to warehouse management and order management systems.
- Familiarity with lean or Six Sigma methods for process improvement.
- Prior experience in an e-commerce business that handles high order volumes.
