About the role
One of our prestigious clients is hiring a Part-time Education Counsellor to guide prospective students on a part-time basis. You will speak with enquiring students, explain course options, and keep in touch until they decide, working reliably within an agreed schedule.
What you'll do
- Speak with students who have enquired and understand what they want from a course.
- Explain course options, admission steps and timelines in simple, accurate terms.
- Follow up with undecided students during your agreed hours so that no enquiry is left waiting.
- Handle student and parent questions courteously, escalating anything you cannot resolve.
- Record each conversation clearly so that colleagues can continue it outside your hours.
- Plan your time carefully to make the most of each part-time session.
What you'll bring
- 1–4 years of experience in counselling, customer handling or education support.
- A graduate or undergraduate qualification; relevant experience is preferred.
- Clear, friendly communication with students and parents over the phone and in person.
- Good time management and reliability within a part-time schedule.
Good to have
- Exposure to admissions work or student enquiry handling in an education setting.
- Prior experience in the Education or Training sector.
- Familiarity with logging follow-ups in an enquiry tracker.
